Camp Coordinator

As a Camp Coordinator, you will oversee daily camp logistics and serve as the primary bridge between counselors and parents. You’ll be a key part of the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up process while helping to design and bring to life our special events, activities, and creative theme days.

Kitchen Coordinator

As a Kitchen Coordinator, you will oversee the Before Care staff and campers (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM) and help coordinate morning drop-off logistics. During the camp day, your focus shifts to managing the kitchen: preparing, coordinating, and serving nutritious lunches and snacks. You will also be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency by completing weekly inventory and requesting necessary supply orders.

Medical Coordinator/Camp Nurse

As a Medical Coordinator/Camp Nurse, you will monitor the daily health and well-being of all campers and staff. Your responsibilities include managing and dispensing daily medications, responding to medical emergencies, and documenting all patient care. You will also serve as a liaison with external healthcare professionals when needed and ensure all camp first aid kits and medical supplies are fully stocked and ready for use.

Waterfront Leader

As a Waterfront Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the pool area to ensure the absolute safety of all swimmers and staff. You will manage and train the waterfront team, assist with active swimmer supervision and buddy checks, and conduct swim tests to maintain an accurate log of swimmer ability levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and documenting pool chemistry throughout the day and maintaining daily records for water quality, maintenance, and swimmer safety on the waterfront clipboard.

Athletics Activity Leader/Sports Clinic Instructor

As the Athletics Activity Leader/Sports Clinic Instructor, you will lead daily, age-appropriate sports clinics designed to engage campers of all skill levels. In the afternoons, you’ll also assist with the sign-out process to ensure a smooth and safe departure for every camper.

Camp GLAM Activity Leader/Arts And Crafts Clinic Instructor

As a Camp Glam Activity Leader & Arts and Craft Clinic Instructor, you will design and lead age-appropriate "Glam" clinic activities while overseeing the daily arts and crafts program. You'll bring creativity to life by executing specialized projects that engage campers of all ages.

Lifeguard

As a Lifeguard, you will maintain constant surveillance of campers in and around the pool to ensure a safe environment. You are responsible for responding immediately and appropriately to any emergencies, keeping the pool area clean, assisting with water chemical regulation, and vacuuming the pool as needed.

Maintenance/Equipment Manager

As Maintanence & Equipment Manager, you will handle general repairs and manage the inventory, storage, and maintenance of all camp, sports, and pool equipment. You’ll be responsible for the upkeep of the campgrounds and sports fields to ensure they are ready for play, while keeping detailed logs of equipment inspections and daily usage. Additionally, you will organize the lost and found to help parents easily reclaim their children's items.

Janitorial/Grounds Manager

Photographer/Digital Media Specialist

As a Photographer & Digital Media Specialist, you’ll capture daily photos and videos of campers and activities to tell the story of the summer. You will manage our social media platforms, update the camp blog, and create weekly newsletters and slideshows for our families. You’ll also produce marketing videos and a season-end memory collection to preserve the camp experience for years to come.

Security Officers

As a Security Officer, you will oversee the safety of the entire camp community by monitoring daily drop-off and pick-up transitions. Your role involves patrolling the campgrounds to conduct regular safety checks and serving as a first responder to any camp emergencies, including notifying the proper authorities when needed. Additionally, you will play a key part in camp preparedness by assisting management with the coordination and execution of safety drills.

Volunteers

As a Camp Volunteer, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the "ins and outs" of day camp life by supporting our management team wherever help is needed. This is a great opportunity for those who are 16+ years old, can pass all required employment screenings, and can provide valid references.

Camp Counselor

As a Counselor at Camp SAM, you will co-lead and engage a "family unit" of 15–20 campers throughout the summer. You’ll guide your group through a daily schedule of exciting stations, participating alongside them in games, activities, and crafts. Beyond the fun, you are responsible for the safety and well-being of your campers while helping them build lasting friendships, master new skills, and grow in confidence.

AM/Kitchen Counselors

As a Before Care & Culinary Specialist, you’ll kickstart our campers' mornings from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM by leading games, serving breakfast, and assisting with morning drop-off. Once the camp day officially begins at 9:00 AM, you’ll transition to the kitchen to prepare, coordinate, and serve nutritious lunches and snacks to keep the energy going!

PM Counselor

As an After Care Specialist, you’ll supervise and engage campers from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM by leading games and serving snacks. You will also assist with afternoon pick-up and help with the end-of-day camp cleanup.
